Still can't believe that someone who says he "supports" the rescue and "believes" in their mission can be so ignorant and complain about something as frivolous as right of way on a road.
To run a rescue organization is a thankless job. I certainly hope that the zoning board can do some type of special permission thing. As far as going around taxes, etc, whatever. Aren't they a 501(c)(3)?
I <3 the greys ... when they come off the track they've never seen themselves in a mirror (who is THAT dog??) ... often have never gone up/down stairs and if they have, only a few (my first grey Bill tried to jump up an entire stairwell at once) and, and, and.

I agree... This is a great rescue, and I really hate that someone would push so hard to see a group like them shut down..
